NitrOlympX 2025 Retrospective

The NitrOlympX 2025 took place from August 29 to 31, 2025 at the Hockenheimring. With around 260 participants from 16 countries and over 47,000 spectators, a new attendance record was set. A detailed post-event report can be found on the dm-dragracing.de website.

For Schumann Motorsport, three drivers took to the track: Oliver Petzold, Janine Petzold, and Eleanor Petzold. Unfortunately, Olli and Eleanor were eliminated in the round of 16 on Sunday. Eleanor also competed in the Junior Dragster class, where she qualified but was knocked out in the round of 16 by Lina Wolf, who went on to win the event. Janine competed in the Super Comp class (Corvette C5 Roadster) and put up a great fight, but did not achieve a final placement.

EMKA had a few highlights to offer its guests and visitors as well: our three models Marlena, Preaw, and Sandra supported us as Grid Girls in specially designed EMKA catsuits, drawing plenty of well-deserved attention. The beautiful ladies will also appear in the upcoming EMKA Women Calendar 2026.

We also had massive support from Torsten and Nathalie from TM Promotion & Eventservice. Their almost three-meter-tall, bright yellow Transformer delighted everyone, spreading great vibes and posing for what felt like three million photos.

For EMKA, the event was a resounding success. The weekend began with a relaxed Friday evening dinner near the hotel in Waldorf, followed by an impressive Saturday together with around 35 customers and guests, complete with our own pit box in the Motodrom, exclusive hospitality by Oma Lore, an air show over the stadium, and the legendary Nightshow on the quarter-mile that left no one unmoved. When the dragon roars from its cave at full power!

All in all, it was a fantastic weekend full of action and energy. For anyone attending such an event, a calm evening walk afterward is highly recommended for reflection and recovery. In summary, it was a wonderful weekend, and we’re already looking forward to next year, hopefully with an even stronger performance from Schumann Motorsport and the new Corvette, which was already showcased at AUTOZUM Salzburg earlier this year on the EMKA booth.
