On Saturday, May 9, 2026, a special event for all truck fans, technology enthusiasts and families took place at the Cholehof in Brugg in the canton of Aargau, Switzerland. Together with our dealer Werk 80 from Görwihl, we at EMKA Schmiertechnik were able to be on site and introduce ourselves to visitors as a competent lubricant supplier.

The event offered the ideal opportunity to talk to truck drivers, entrepreneurs, workshop professionals and interested guests. Together with the Werk 80 team, we were able to present our products, our experience in the field of modern lubricants and our solutions for commercial vehicles.

107 trucks and plenty of impressive technology

A total of 107 trucks were represented at the event. The variety of vehicles was impressive: from modern trucks from brands such as Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Scania, Ford, Mack, Kenworth and Deutz to real classics and vintage vehicles from Saurer and Hanomag, there was something for everyone. Military trucks could also be admired and attracted great interest from visitors.

Diesel fans were not the only ones who got their money’s worth. The powerful engine sounds of V8 and V12 engines created excitement and goosebump moments. At the same time, the event also offered a glimpse into the future: with the latest generation of a Mercedes E-Truck, modern electric mobility in the commercial vehicle sector was also represented.

An experience for young and old

The truck meeting at the Cholehof was much more than just a vehicle exhibition. The event at the truck stop, including the <strongTruck convoy, offered a varied program for young and old. In addition to the numerous vehicles, visitors were also able to experience an impressive crane vehicle with an extendable viewing platform, which offered a special view over the event grounds.

There was also plenty of entertainment: a live band created a great musical atmosphere, while a square dance and line dance group additionally delighted the audience. Food and drink were also well catered for, with American street food, various burgers and other offerings, leaving nothing to be desired from a culinary point of view.

Exchange, impressions and many good conversations

For us, the event was an excellent opportunity to present EMKA Schmiertechnik in a suitable environment. Commercial vehicles, workshop technology and high-quality lubricants are closely connected. That is exactly why the truck meeting at the Cholehof was the ideal place to bring our products and expertise closer to an interested audience.
